QRS is currently
working on a major project funded by grants from the State of Ohio’s Department
of Mental Health (ODMH) to ADAMHS Boards and Alliances. For the past five years,
through the Consumer Quality Review Team (CQRT) project, consumers of public
mental health services have been surveyed across sixteen to twenty counties in
western Ohio. QRS is the oldest and first independent 501(c) 3 organization
operating a CQRT Project in Ohio.
QRS conducts an
external review of an array of public mental health services. Data are collected
by interviewing current and recent adult and child consumers and other
stakeholders. The intent is to look at the entire system of mental health care
from the consumer perspective, as well as that of significant others, family
members, and service providers for the purpose of improving the mental health
system in Ohio.
The QRS staff
consists of consumers, family members, and licensed professionals. Working in
partnership with the University of Cincinnati and NAMI Ohio, QRS offers a unique
insight into Ohio’s system of behavioral healthcare
